I also think Hitler adopted the swastika for reasons that escape most historians today. He knew it originated in the Far East, and he also knew that it did not symbolize "good luck" like all the fact-checkers will tell you (yes it symbolized good luck eventually, but long after the Aryans used it in India). You can take entry-level history courses that talk about how the swastika originally symbolized fertility, and we're not talking about crops and harvest seasons either. Ancient sex/fertility cults predate most history we're taught, yet the idea of human reproduction is omitted from the textbooks. 

Hitler was clear about who the Aryans were, and they had nothing to do with blonde-haired, blue-eyed Germans in the 1930's. Again, entry-level history courses tell you all about the Aryans, and how they were a "mysterious" people that just seemed to "show up" in the historical record. They moved SE into India thousands of years ago and are the ones responsible for introducing the swastika and what is now called Hinduism to the area. Who knows? Maybe they did come from an area near Germany and Hitler was right all along by claiming Germans in the 1930's were descended from the Aryans.
