So, I am getting married soon and here in Michigan the restrictions are GONE as of tomorrow morning. This means that my reception can be indoors at full capacity. I sent an email to my family to this effect, and IMMEDIATELY one of my cousins got on my case about how her two year old won’t wear a mask, and they don’t want him around anyone unvaccinated so she’ll have to talk to his pediatrician and blah blah blah...what the fuck. This is SICK. He’s TWO and you’re perplexed that he doesn’t want to be muzzled?! I just don’t understand this anymore. People really don’t want to let go of Covid, it’s become their identity.

My insane liberal MIL was so mad about the venue we picked (she wanted us to get married in her backyard, where she could control everything and make sure everyone was miserable) that she got her whole side of the family to reject our wedding invitation. Honestly, it was awesome all those crazy people didn't come.
It's your wedding. If people don't like the way you are running it, they don't have to come and drink your free booze.
Thanks! She remains absolutely insane to this day. My husband and I are expecting a child in September and MIL ONLY uses possessives when discussing the baby with us - she always calls the baby "MY granddaughter." She's a very controlling/grasping person.
