Worth noting that masons are organized as cells, and when the US was being founded there was general acknowledgement (among the founding fathers, at least) that the colonial freemasons were solid. My understanding is that the freemasons originally started out good, and became infiltrated and corrupt over time. Also that like the Catholic church, the members can be good solid people despite the leadership. There is a history of freemasonry in my own family (I never joined) since the colonial times, and the ones I know today are God-fearing, God-serving men, and MAGA Trumpers. No, I didn't watch the video. But I grew up understanding that masons were good people, and had some experience traveling to other countries (Central and South America) where the mention of masons made people freak out as if you were telling ghost stories. Took me aback at first, but makes more sense to me now, possibly like the difference between Franciscans and Jesuits within the Catholic church.
I know you don't want sauce particularly, but I found this really useful- it gets a handle on how far back they claim to trace their beliefs and what they consist of.
Some musical insight on the Shriners in particular, a blast from the part by way of Ray Stevens that I was tipped off to by my influential good ol' Doctor Demento.
nah, a lot of it is over emotional Bible thumping. BUT the video gives great insight (if true) into their origins, beliefs, and symbolism. Helped to answer a bunch of why's for me.. In a nutshell it is a cult (freemasonry) that it has a hierarchy that moves loyalists up until a level that if they are unable to see through the veil (satanism and luceferianism) Lots of symbolic images from our favorite people, and where the whole Moloch thing comes from. Great video in my opinion, he is really sappy and bitchutey in his delivery on camera. Very fall of the cabal in its narration, after watching it I really did understand the motivation of people wanting to destroy the human race and force God's hand. No need to share a link as I'm sure the search "5 hour video" would land you on one of many many posts here. just my opinion though. if u can get past the first hour it gets good.
I hope it will, on the outside (if it's true) it is a serious do gooder research and fellowship community with a religious aspect. All of the below serve as shade and legitimacy of the true purpose. ( again if its true) most of the masons would never achieve a 33rd and higher degree. so I'm sure your friend is just making the rounds doing his service to his community and trying to gain some good connects that may help him advance in life.
Supposedly the top Communists in Soviet Russia all attended masonic lodges. Many top Presidents were Masons. Almost all recent British kings have been Masons. Imagine an organization that controls American leaders, English royalty, and Russian leaders!
Bill Cooper's mystery Babylon series is a must hear

It's worth the watch
Yes, it does take that long for you to believe what you're seeing.
He even says multiple times "but you still don't believe what you're seeing, yeah?"
Then he moves on to even more proof
