If your assertions lack basic logic to the extent that they cannot withstand even elementary scrutiny but you publish a video about them anyway, you might be a crackpot.
Just because someone proposes something that is not mainstream does not mean that the proposal has any value.
I will take time to listen to people who are outside of the mainstream (I watched this video), but if they are going to serve up BS, their credibility is gone and the video or article goes into the crackpot bin.

This. People can be right for the wrong reasons.
Evidence may be right (or partially so) but the authors conclusions are wrong. Don't discount someone utterly for mistakes.
