When Microsoft started using the word "My" in front of everything (like 'My Computer' icon on the desktop), I thought it was some sort of psychological trick. Working in IT it became maddening to talk to people on the phone helping them to solve a problem and have to say, "Ok, now click on My Computer", only to have them say, "Your computer?" It baffled me at the time.
