I might be on to something...
There is a mechanism that is controlling all these people.
LeBron is getting 4am Talking Points, for fucks sake.
Bezos is HEADING INTO SPACE!!
Massive Real Estate divestment by Ellen and Warren Buffet giving EVERYTHING to Charity are two examples of possible Cabal control of equity.
I already knew they were part of the Cabal, based on Q's clue:
They thought the SHEEP would follow the STARS
Yes Satan is Jesus’s brother, same as all of us. We were all spirit children of God prior to coming to earth. God wanted his children to come experience mortal life. Satan proposed sending everyone and forcing them to follow Gods rules. However, Satan wanted the credit and glory. Christ proposed everyone have free agency, and he would provide the atonement for all to be able to repent of their mistakes. God chose Christ’s plan. And Satan and 1/3 of the hosts of heaven were kept from coming to earth. However, they spend their time tempting and possessing those who have bodies here.
I don’t know all things about the universe, but God the Father is who I worship. If He exists, then there surely must be other Gods throughout the expanses of infinity. And if we are constantly supposed to make good choices, and repent of our bad ones, then ultimately we can become more like God and Christ. So yeah, maybe if our ultimate goal is becoming more like Christ, eventually we might learn to be gods ourselves. However, our understanding on this is limited, and quite frankly not that necessary. We only have to worry about our mortal decisions for now. Who knows what else happens in the next million years after we die. I’m not that worried about this aspect of the doctrine. I’m only worried about the choices I make here and now. ?
I think it would be kinda cool to learn to be perfect like God and be able to create. Of course, who knows the time frame of that. Could be millions of years? Not sure. Doesn’t matter.
I guess, if you aren’t progressing, what’s the point of existence? And if you aren’t striving to become perfect like God, what is the ultimate goal?
I'm not crapping on your religion, that's between you and God, he gave us free will for a reason. I'm just legitimately curious since I've never met a real Mormon. How does that whole "multiple gods thing" reconcile with the whole false god thing? Also, random question. Why can't you guys drink tea or coffee? Alcohol I get to some extent, but why tea and coffee?
Lol. Some things don’t make sense to me either. I think in Joseph smiths time the terminology used was no “hot drinks”. I think that was referring to drinks that alter our cognition. ie: alcohol. The high caffeine content in coffee and tea might have been the same reason?? But it hasn’t been clarified in current times. Most importantly, we are counseled to avoid anything that alters our ability to think clearly. I had to quit drinking my daily Monster energy because it was wiring me up then dropping me down. And the headaches...ugh.
There is only one God who I worship, in the name of his Son Jesus Christ. Whether at some point people can get to the point of having their own universe and creations and being gods, that’s too complicated to think about. I have enough worries here in this mortal life already. I would say a false god is something/someone keeping a person from worshipping the true God.
Hmm I can see that. It makes sense to avoid things that make you impaired. As for the rest of it. I'll just agree to disagree. Personally I believe there's only one God, that being the triune God of Jesus, Jehovah, and the Holy Spirit, and when we die we go to eternal paradise or hell depending on our salvation and belief in Christ. I actually generally agree with most of the what Mormons believe and their general lifestyle. At least from what I've understood about it and seen online. That being said I've been raised a Baptist, so I doubt I'll change my ways. any time soon. But I DO respect the super conservative lifestyle most Mormons seem to live.
