A delta is the intersection of what is new with what is known. That nomenclature almost specifically calls it by what it is. Kinda like calling covid "19" cause the year. "Delta" specifically refers to thise who have been vaxed and have covid again. Almost brilliant. They get to report on those who got vaxed and are still getting covid and use them to further the vax death program.
