You certainly speak from a position as if I havent studied what Satanism is, and that I was still in UU. That is certainly disparaging. Nice try, but I wasn't born last night.
What do you think gave me a proper environment to study and compare ALL religions, without zealots like you breathing down my neck!? It was the UU church.
Now before you jump to conclusions again, that doesn't mean I studied Satanism at UU or even partook in any Satanic rituals in my life. I was merely in an environment that wasn't criticizing me for reading a book that wasn't The Bible. I studied Satanism on my own years after I left UU.
However, I studied Philosophy and other subjects while I was at the UU church. I got to read books like the Apocrypha, the Book of Enoch, etc in their library. The church encouraged me to ask questions and study. I found rabbit holes of information from those people.
Ironically, this path led me to find people who were based within the church and outside as well. My girlfriend at the time jumped down the rabbit hole too since she had masons in her family and we found even more info.
Point is, dont knock people's roots. This movement is made up of everybody, and you don't "know it all".

If you heard that, it wasn't in my voice in my head, I promise.

Zealot?
I'm agnostic, as in, as far as I'm concerned I have no idea what the truth is, and I am not smart enough to possibly know but I will continue my (so far) neverending search for evidence. Does that sound like a zealot to you? Perhaps you are reading more into what I am saying than is there.
Now before you jump to conclusions again
I like, literally didn't jump to any of the conclusions you have accused me of since I never thought any of the things you have accused me of.
Point is, dont knock people's roots
That never happened. I honestly don't think I have ever done that in my entire life. In fact, I have always pushed for exactly the opposite of that behavior whenever I have seen it. I firmly believe that no matter how someone came to the discussion, their argument is the only thing that matters; not any previous experience whatsoever.
you don't "know it all"
I know literally nothing.
I was merely pointing out that UU and Satanism had similar tenets. Which I stand by. I never said a single thing more than that. Well, I also said that the link between the two was the belief system based on "nature" i.e. druidism, but it was just to provide a link in that chain.
I never said a single thing more, so if you thought i did, I honestly don't know what to say...

Sorry?
Holy shit dude, if you can jump through hoops like that, you should join the olympics. We need more patriots out there.
