In order to believe time travel is not possible, you’d have to carry the notion that it will never be possible. Not in 10 years or not in a million.

Considering that humans and animals from the past, can flicker into current time and be seen by us in the present, sometimes acting puzzled to be here, or, oblivious to us and some behaving purposefully and even communicating (yes; it is true) and some of us have precognition ( knowledge and or visions of events that then happen in the future) it seems rather obvious that the past, present and future exist simultaneously. Maybe they are bands of different dimensuons. Proper execution of the coordinates should mean time can be traveled through with intention. Not to be flippant, but remember how Clark Kent- Superman flew around Earth the "wrong way" to slow then reverse it's spin and that was how he turned time back, so he could save Lois? That was quaint.
Yes, that Superman scene was weird.
Suddenly stopping Earth's spin and making it spin the opposite direction, then stopping and reversing the spin again to "normal"... would effectively kill every man, woman and child on planet Earth.
There would be no coastal cities left. Every earthquake fault would rupture simultaneously. Just the 300 mph winds generated world wide would be wipe out civilizations.
Superman never stopped to think about the consequences.
Well that sucks because we are fix'n to go through a spin reversal with the next magnetic pole flip.
Never heard that one. I've heard the theory of a pole shift, but not a pole flip.
The magnetic poles flip, not the planet. The planet rotation slows to a stop and reverses direction over the course of a day.
300mph winds is a severe underestimate.... think 1000kmph winds
He wiped them out, but time reversal stopped turned it back.
Now what's that S Superman thres at his enemies in Superman 2?
Good thing that was just a silly hollywood fantasy movie, and not realistic in real life AT ALL.
