I'm using it once a month prophylacticly for myself and our dog. I haven't convinced hubby yet. I've used both the injectible (taken by mouth) and the horse gel mixed with jam. The gel is definately easier. Absolutely no side effects. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

One thing is my brother told me that with horses, the entire tube is given as one dose, and that often the real medicine is at the end of the tube. So unless you mix the tube really well before taking part of it, you may actually not get any of the real medicine.
You could get a small glass container, expel the whole tube into it, and mix it, if you plan ahead on how to re-measure the dose. Most kitchen scales don't have the resolution. There are mini measuring spoons (dash, tad, pinch, smidgen) that could be helpful: measure a dose from the tube marker before mixing..
I can hear the coroner's report now. "He took a dash, tad, pinch, or smidgen, when he should have only taken drop, and tad, or a dab.
Good to know. Thank you!
