Hmm. Maybe just be up front with them – your state doesn't require it, you aren't getting it, and if that's what's required for in person meetings, they can come to your state OR you'll go there without the vax.
Of course, have another job in your back pocket. Even if it's a lesser job, the stress/worry/sleep might be just as bad short/mid-term.
Have you considered leaving that God awful state? Finding a job in that field elsewhere or at least similar in those two months?
I wouldn't do it. But I wouldn't be in California.
California based company but I live in Minnesota… have client meetings at HQ in California so this going to be a perpetual issue for me if I stay
