For the past couple of weeks in my town, many of the stores here haven't had the chance to restock items, leaving many empty shelves. There are three regular stores I frequent where I have talked to the employees, and they confirmed that regular shipments aren't coming in, or they only have half the items that are usually delivered. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I remeber that there was talk of a planned food shortage in the U.S on GAW about two months or so ago, so it definitely piqued my curiosity after personally encountering some weird situations.

I went to Ross for the first time a month ago and it was bare. I asked the cashier if it was usually like that and she said trucks have only been arriving with 1/2 loads.
Fuck those who say you are greedy, stock up on necessities.
Ross wouldn't open the changing rooms due to da rona. I tried on shorts right in the aisle. Fuck 'em, I had underwear on.
Security guard Karen came over and said to stop, there are children in the store, and you're naked! I replied that children are not harmed by briefly seeing knee-length boxer briefs on a man. She later apologized for overreacting.
No changing rooms allowed. Oh but the bathroom is right over there. Hooray for science.
IM sorry, but I wouldn't want a grown man stripping to his underwear around my kids. Boxers or not. Maybe wear shorts next time and try on over them? I appreciate your idea, and it's more the "stripping down to your underwear " in front of them rather than them seeing your knees.
What damage do you think that does to a child? Be specific.
Grooming children to accept seeing grown men with their pants off. Tip toe, tip toe. Next you'll ask what's the harm in children seeing a naked man? It's natural, isn't it?
To me, it's the same exposure as having a man go in the same public restroom as them. I don't want them I'm there lowering their pants, either. Why worry about the bathroom if they are doing it in the aisles? Sorry, I'm just old fashioned like that.
LOL the repeated use of the word "stripping" makes it sound sleazy and sexualized, Monique. I was trying on shorts. I mean, if your kids ever get to go to a swimming pool or a beach, then they see people wearing a whole lot less than what I had on. So, no cause for alarm.
Yes, I'm an old fashioned prude. I feel stripping down to your underwear in public is different than doing it to take a bath or go swimming.
closing the dressing rooms were stupid.
all that happened was people would buy various sizes, try them on at home, then there's a long line of people returning all kinds of clothes.
