Yeah, that combined with a little bit of overconfidence they probibly believe they will never be made to face justice. I doubt many of them have a serious exit plan. They haven't even considered what happens if they need a quick getaway. The few that have probibly don't have a very good plan.

I believe some of the crap we are seeing with people buying land in the wives names etc isn't actually the person making an escape plan... its the wife making her escape plan and she hopes that because she wasn't directly involved etc that she might be allowed to just run away and hide in some foreign country.

The real truth is these people can't even conceive of living in a world where they aren't large and in charge. They can't live without that list above so escaping to a hole in the ground like Saddam isn't even an option for them. I truly believe Q like us was just guessing at their reaction once backed into a corner with the reality of their options...
