Brazil: Highly publized variant, 2nd highest # of deaths WITH COVID (not of)

Russia: Ally of China (ex-communist)

India: Highly publized variant

China: &*%$ the CCP

South Africa: Highly publized variant

Help me out... have there been any other highly publized variants? Could this be the CCP taking out their 'near-peer' emerging competition?
