Thanks, yeah but in recent years blue states have moved away from traditional fuels, including nuclear, to favor renewable energies and as a result have less power overall, especially as the sun sets and solar goes off grid. This is one reason why you can have less population and more power problems. It's likely just the result of stupidity and poor leadership decisions than it is a super secret decoder message. We have plenty of energy in my state but have idiotic leadership and state climate boards to appease so our regulations are idiotic.

That may apply to CA but not for NYC. Solar in NYC isn't going to work given the climate and weather there.
So the power grid in NYC isn't overloaded when they literally are a ghost town right now.
