Culmination of the secret investigation of General Julius Klein is this "hearing" (actually attempt to drag Klein into the light and expose his corruption of senators, representatives, and military officers). Nothing comes of it. By the way, the hearings are great reading and the witness list is a who's who of the deep state of the day.

And then there is this little oddity linking Klein to Chief Justice Earl Warren that occurred just after the report of the Warren Commission was released:

Forget the Klein wikipedia propaganda.

The back story on the Klein / E. Warren connection goes back to Warren's election as governor of California and Klein's spying on the Nazi Bund in Los Angeles for J. Edgar Hoover, at the direct request of President Roosevelt, in the late 1930s. Warren, then Attorney General of CA, used Klein's information to hold a series of Nazi-conspirator show trials to leverage Jewish donations (from the big Hollywood producers) and the Jewish vote in general. The request to use Klein made to J. Edgar by Roosevelt came at the recommendation of James W. Gerard (he is a whole other rabbit hole).

Robert Kennedy thought they had Klein cornered again in 1967 when Klein was scheduled to testify in the investigation of Senator Dodd (D Connecticut) (see link below) but a letter, literally at the last minute, from the Director of the CIA gave Klein an alibi and allowed him to slip the hook once again. Dodd was censured... but of course won his reelection easily. And then, the Senate changed the ethics rules to allow what Dodd was censured for.
