Their way of abusing this is 'case law', ie; practice and precidence.

They use that to distort the actual meaning.

Kinda like what the modern church does with the Bible... but that's a whole other topic.

What the fuck are you talking about? The Bible is perfect and infallible. God very specifically wants gays stoned, but changed His mind about pork. Also, Jesus is very obviously white and Republican.
