Last week when shopping, I checked the price of ground beef (I haven't eaten it for years) I was shocked on how expensive it is now, a full frozen stack of pre made patties (fillers I am sure), was half the price of a standard package of actual ground beef. I don't see how they come up with the food as cheaper than last year, seems to me I would be spending a good $30 more for the "usual" cookout. And I guess it depends on where you live too.
I just wonder how many different variations of menu items the Farm Bureau had to go through in order to find one that was actually cheaper?
Ground beef for tacos instead of BBQ.

You shouldn't assume they started telling the truth.
