I keep hearing the opposite and they say that people refuse to get off the gov tit and work so short staffed operations are causing delays up the ass. This isn't the tech industry tho so that might be the reason you're seeing something different. I actually don't see why employment would change for the tech sector since you guys can work from home and lose little productivity.
You are correct that tech is different than most industries. My only point is that the number of jobs are artificially inflated with way more people out of work than normal. That is not what the dem supporters would have you believe
