It has a lot of things going against it for enrollment:

Covid- My neighbors host scout meetings and I always see that everyone is socially distant and wearing masks. These neighbors are based and awake, so that tells me it's forced on them by their organization (or at least the local constituents).
Boy Scouts/ Girl Scouts- what's the difference any more? Girls can join Boy Scouts so that's a little odd for some.

3 Like most organizations with kids, pedophiles infiltrated and we've all read the stories about that problem.
