Grow your own, to the extent you can.
Spend as much time outdoors as you can.
Eat green leafy vegetables.
That right there will avoid a lot of potential health issues.
Funny thing is reading stuff on this site prompted me to get a water filter thingy that takes out Fluoride and other stuff. Did this iminths ago and glad I did. I still really like French fries.
Watched a video on how they are putting lead, mercury and arsenic in baby food! Imagine what they put in adult food. Its absolutely disturbing and sad! Back to natural food, closest to what God created is best, I will admit I do struggle with it myself.
Thank you! I work on intermittent fasting and low carb/sugar. Its my last addiction (stopped coffee, meds, etc) its definitely hard, I do pray about it. I know God wants me to be better. I just need to stay committed! God bless too!
Saw a vid of someone with Gerber baby meal mix in a plastic bag, the mix had "now with more Iron!" on the box, she ran a magnet over it and what do you know, large iron shavings were racing straight to it
Iron deficiency anemia is more likely copper deficiency.
Iron from beef liver is so easy to put in baby's food now that you can get it in powder form...there is NO FUCKING REASON to put iron shavings in baby food.
Correct, iron accumulation is particularly toxic. In fact it's much worse than a deficiency. The list of diseases caused by long term iron excess is really long and unfortunately very common.
Iron heavy well water and cooking in cast iron pans are some sources of too much iron. Women are mostly protected while menstruating, but menopause can bring on problems for some. Blood donation can get rid of excess iron.
Always have a FULL proper iron panel done for accuracy.
When your thyroid doesn't have enough real iodine available it will grab the nearest thing on the periodic table: bromide, fluoride or chlorine. One cannot build thyroid hormone with these alternate chemicals, and things get really messed up. Take good care of your thyroid by taking quality iodine everyday.
It is extremely rare for anyone in the modern world to have an iodine deficiency, due to the abundance of iodine in processed bread products and dairy products, as well as iodized salt. I bought in to the need for supplemental iodine a couple decades ago; not in excess amounts, just a reasonable supplement. And it appears that gave me thyroid disease, which was finally identified this year after I took a higher iodine supplement which caused dramatic symptoms. In every country around the world that began adding iodine to salt or water supply, they have tracked statistics that show an increase in thyroid disease in the years afterwards. For instance, Denmark increased their population's iodine intake by only 50 mcg per person, and saw a rise in Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and thyroid cancers. You can read more about that here: https://www.drchristianson.com/what-happened-with-denmarks-iodine-experiment/ and this doctor has written an excellent book, Thyroid Reset DIet, which goes into great detail. Every time we humans try to "fix something" on a large scale - we seem to make it worse!

Energy drinks can enlarge your heart, fyi. Didn’t happen to me but I used to be addicted to white Monster.
Best of luck! You can do it!

Iron accumulates in the body.
Copper is necessary to balance out iron.

That is so disheartening!
