Basically, a conservator becomes 'you'...in a way, it is like a parent/minor relationship. You sign contracts, you manage finances, medical, etc. on behalf of the conservatee.
Okay, but I'm trying to figure out what the argument for her continuing conservatorship is at this point? I know she went through a rough patch, but why continue the status at this point?
My only experience with conservatorship was with an elderly person who was at the end of life with dementia issues so there was really no chance of her getting better, but conservatorship laws are in the probate code. Here are the guidelines for removing:
