I mean, being honest, the weather IS nice. Once the government is cleaned up and the homeless/crime problem taken care of to some extent, I'd imagine people will start flocking there again. For the record, I'm not talking about LA or anything like that. Inner city housing sucks in every state and the cost of housing is absurd because of basic supply/demand. But I'd imagine smaller towns and cities will become boom towns, assuming this actually goes down how we think it will. Same thing with Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. All beautiful states, but corrupt governments.

Fren, good luck to you. I have lived here almost my whole life and I'm telling you there are no hills south of San Antonio. None. Never. Ever.
My bad, I just looked at my bookmarks of where I was looking, and I had it mixed up. The places I was looking at are Northwest of San Antonio, but I found some land just south I was looking at with the interest of starting a farm of some sort. Entirely my fault, and you were right.
OH YES! Northwest of SA is gorgeous Hill Country! I'd shoot for that over South of SA, tbh. Hill Country is gorgeous.
Don't have to tell me twice. It doesn't take much to make me happy. Just some nice mountains/hills, lots of greenery, and room to do my own thing.
