Not a defense. I made a clarifying comment below. That said, I don't think that Hollywood is a patriarchy at all. Using that term creates a connection between what the feminists are saying "society is run by a patriarchy" and the action by a few disgusting men. Imo it's designed to really cause confusion and point the finger at men as a whole
