Research at LSU indicates prions are the result of bacterial waste from Spiroplasma. It was thought prions were the cause of the diseases mad cow, chronic wasting disease in deer and elk, scabies in sheep, and Creutzfeldt-Jakob in humans. They now believe the prions although they may cause of the disease are created as waste from the bacteria.
They have been working primarily a cure for the deer, but information I saw indicated their research might lead to cures for CJ in humans, and possibly even Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and some other diseases neuro diseases in humans five to seven years down the road.

The recommendation to take fermented cod liver oil is in many people's opinion no longer valid. It changed for the worse at the single company that produced it. I recommend Rosita cod liver oil.
The diet, if stuck to, lasts a couple years for most conditions bring treated nowadays. It heals the gut which restores proper digestion and the immune system.
Geaux Tigers!
#foreverLSU ???
While I am a alumni, I feel like we shouldn't be cheering any university as it still seems like a full on indoctrination institution.
