I was a kid when I was in the bible study. Every week turned into wild, Alex Jones like discussions about the bible and it wasn't just him, I feel like that was the best gathering of intellectuals I have ever attended until coming here. I can't remember everything he said without digging into my memory more.
It isn't as mindblowing as stuff on here I guess and less to do with Stargate, but he had really cool theories in our discussions about the flood not being rainfall as we would expect because of the fermament and the original text saying water came up from the earth. The nature of Adam and Eve being cursed and banished from Eden indicates they could have had a society of peoples from children born in Eden that were drove out with them. Another random one was that he claimed to have heard an earlu recording in England from the 1800s and the English talked with an American accent, so he thinks the British accent evolved over the last century and they used to talk more like us. He could talk all about ancient Sumarian, Aramaic, Egyptian and Persian mythology and writings because he could read all of it.
He was like an encyclopedia of things you couldn't find in an encyclopedia.
There is so much ancient knowledge locked behind old text, Sanskrit for example. Also I’m fairly certain the Egyptians knew about electricity and how to use or harness it. There was this documentary I saw ages ago where they found hieroglyphs in the pyramids depicting humans holding some form of orb as they walked deep into the pyramid.
The main issue with pyramids is there isn’t enough oxygen to keep a fire torch going as you go deeper so they must’ve had another way to see.
Fascinating stuff.
But let’s fast forward to present day - Egypt isn’t exactly beaming with modernity right now.
Whoa… could you expand or give us a few tidbits on what he said? Story time :)
His name is Omar Zuhdi. I wasn't sure if i should drop his name, he distanced himself from stargate after an undisclosed settlement (I heard he had a sports car and a smile after so he got something bur couldn't say). But there was article in The Oklahoman about his claim im the 90's and here's a Reddit thread I found with some info others dug up: https://www.reddit.com/r/scifi/comments/16jttq/the_origins_of_the_stargate_story/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
