Just imagine the triggering white liberals experience when they see us talking about all of the Trump family becoming POTUS. Maybe that helps understand why many of us say things like "All Trumps must become POTUS" :-).
Here, amongst friends, I'd never just blindly support anyone just because their last name is Trump. That's stupid thinking and leads to shit like voting for people like Bushes (i.e. they're an all R family, they must be safe ... that's what I USED to think a couple of decades ago).
Personally, I wouldn't trust Ivanka Trump as POTUS ... not by a long shot. However, if I am "conversing" with a green, blue, and purple haired land whale, you bet your ass I'd have that thing convinced that I'd crawl over broken glass to see her win. Fuck them. I have no reason to be honest with such subhumans and those idiot communists are well past the point where debate would work.
Frustrating the shit out of liberals by playing into their stereotypes by saying stuff like that is OK to me ... it works. It's almost a rallying cry. Anything to make white liberals unhinged is well worth it.
Sometimes its hard to tell what is trolling and what is serious. A lot of people seem serious in their support for the Trump sons and it just seems like they are backing an unproven horse purely because of its heritage.
My comment was mostly about waking people up and forcing them to at least look at why they are giving that support. They need to ask themselves are they being misguided and stupid. I can't tell them the answer. They need to figure it out for themselves.
Blind faith bad, earning your position through action and example good. No one should be worshipped because of their last name. In fact, no human should be worshipped period. Admiration is great when kept in check.
I understand what you are saying, and I should have stated that in my original post.
I think the time for those kinds of discussions are when they actually happen. Right now, saying that you'll vote any Trump into office, regardless of believing that or not, isn't doing any damage. If anything, it's a rallying cry. Also, I know for a fact that it drives the left crazy (it's also hypocritical since they'd vote for Kennedys until the end of time, but I digress).
A few years down the road if/when another Trump campaigns for POTUS, that will be the time to ask people if they're doing due diligence. Right now, certainly nudge people so that they don't fall into that trap (you did a good job bringing it up ... I am not criticizing you at all). However, I wouldn't make it a mission at this time ... there are much bigger fish to fry.
