Side note: I noticed a LOT more fireworks this year in my area compared to previous years. Way more neighbors were participating in the celebration than normal. I just took it as a good sign.

There were heavy explosions here in every direction until almost midnight. It sounded like a war. But I just stood outside and watched the neighbor's fireworks going way above the treetops.
