45 is excessive, per the inventor of the test. Anything over 30 is completely illegitimate.

Ever hear of the phrase “any decent prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich”

It’s sort of like that. If you literally test a ham sandwich it will test positive for Covid at 45 cycles
