There are two ships registered with the name "DURHAM". The one in question (a Tanker) in the Mediteranian following the Ever Given which is British, and one (a tugboat) that was (and probably still is) in a Manhattan harbor which is American.
At 14:12 EST they appear to be about a half mile apart, which considering the Ever Given is a quarter mile long is pretty close. However, it appears the Durham is passing the Ever Given.
I think "followed by" is a stretch, but interesting nonetheless. Worth keeping an eye on.
