We have to remember that, just as so many medical doctors are clueless because they refuse to research for themselves and only rely on their perceived "experts," the same is true of attorneys and politicians (many of whom are attorneys).
Ted Cruz is supposedly a constitutional lawyer, and yet he somehow doesn't know that he is not a "natural born citizen," and therefore not eligible to hold the office of President, and therefore should not be running for Prez?
Either (a) he knows and doesn't give a damn, or (b) he doesn't know and is clueless about the document for which he claims to be an expert.
Some of these people know and do it anyway. Others are too damn lazy to actually find out the truth for themselves, though they are presumed to know and are responsible for knowing (so for them, "not knowing" is not an excuse).
