What actually happened to those loyal to the crown was that they soon felt very unwelcome in the independent USA (getting tarred and feathered didn't help) and fled to what eventually became the English parts of early Canada, which was up till then a mostly French-speaking colony ceded from France to Britain. That's why so many of my fellow Canadians are not really the rebellious freedom-loving types I wish we were. As for me, my family fought and fled the commies to settle in Canada, so I put a higher value on liberty than most of my countrymen... Which brings me to this fine corner of the internet.
How badly I wanted to after the Great Awakening started, but unfortunately, my wife is not on board. Besides, I'm fully prepared to do my part here. And if Q is correct, Trudeau and the rest of the canuck cabal will be exposed and Canada will awaken greatly in due time.
