Nothing to do with election but personel reason has me to where i dont remember what it feels like to not be a nervous wreck anymore. Lost 100 lbs n past 8 months
Work out, achieve achievable goals, learn self-defense (doesn't matter if it's gun-fu or MMA or what). Build personal security and build on that. That calms the 'monkey brain' or 'monkey mind' that wants to rule from the subconscious.
Above all else accept Jesus -- the temporal world can't touch you once you have the only true assurance of life.
Stress will kill you, fren. That's a lot of weight to lose in that amount of time. If you are able (go online and use the drug interaction checkers to make sure), and as long as it doesn't interfere with what you may already be taking, you might try some St. John's Wort. It's like nature's paxil. But you can't take it if you're already on the real paxil or anything like it, so you must check to ensure it won't interact with anything you're already on. But I know it has helped a bunch of people. And I agree 100% with NotinFormation with accepting Jesus. For me, my freakout was over the election, back in January. I was inconsolable. Going to church and finding Christ again has helped me tremendously. I wish you the best - stay strong, you'll get through this. "This too, shall pass." :)
Also draxe.com has a lot of good information about nutrition, stress management, and natural health in general. Try looking up some info there, he's a real doctor and he's smart as hell.

I don't mean to pry, but have you had your thyroid tested?
Very good question. I had a friend that lost 90 lbs in 10 months. Turns out she was taking too much thyroid medication
