It's been around almost as long as "global warming". An ever-changing, never-ending story. I'm sure that there will be some sort of reversion to, say, a gold standard one day soon. But I don't think that the N-G fairy tale will have much to do with it.

They continually told stories of people that had all their debts disappear overnight. You would think that kind of news would spread. Unfortunately, I think some have loaded up on debt thinking it would be magically erased one day. The concept never made sense to me.
It was a conspiracy theory that there was a secret plan to abolish taxes. People convinced with the theory encouraged others to not file income taxes this year. They are probably got penalized by the IRS.
