Yeah, and it being a bid system, where the host nation us compelled to spend tens of millions to build new facilities, this will be the most collossally bad investment in Olympics hosting ever made. That's at least an economic quadruple-whammy to Japan, after the earthquake, tsunami, scamdemic and now the epic failure of these Olympic games.
The last two having been the direct result of the Sino-Lefto-Global power grab in the US, it is a terrible shame, a horrible disgrace and a completely avoidable undermining of Japan. The country itself loses face once again. From what I understand, the vast majority of its citizens will bear the shame and disgrace - as if they could have done anything to change the now-inevitable outcome.
