Keep in mind the goal. California is the largest, most populous state in the U.S... and also has the largest liberal cities. If the Governor of California is voted OUT and a Republican is voted in as Governor... that governor controls the state national guard and is over the state police, state attorney general, etc... .
That changes the game considerably if or when the SHTF and U.S. troops are needed after Biden is tossed from office. Having a replacement state governor on the side of the White Hats makes a huge difference in the plan.
