The only attain power because we LET them. If nobody did what they said to, they wouldn't have power, would they?

If, for example, Gavin Newsome was just suddenly ignored by literally everyone else, he could be 'governor' but it wouldn't mean shit. If he tried to fire people, and they just ignored him and did their jobs anyway, he wouldn't mean shit.
