I feel bad for having uploaded my photos to Google Photos. Have set up Nextcloud web server on a Raspberry Pi 4 with Ubuntu desktop and 2TB external drive for storage, including photos.
I’ve switched to Rumble for most of my video. Switching to Criptext for email, instead of outlook. I use LinkedIn but no other social media.
Well not yet. The way things are going when they criminalize freedom and wrongthink, then many of us will be “criminals” seemingly in the very near future.
I believe there are 256 ascii characters to choose from if they allow all to be used.
They start with finding common words and names using those ascii combinations and then through numbers, and common alt characters like = + < etc. At the end of the day all that matters using longest possible string of those 256. Fortunately most systems look for the brute force approach and limit how many times you can be wrong without have to either reset or wait some period of time to try again.
Can you recommend a backup software that lets me backup my Pixel (2XL) to my computer before I can try degoogling ?

Do you know why it's called a "cell" phone? Because it's a prison cell... for your mind.
Any good sites for throwaway phone numbers ?
Many sites are implementing 2 factor with phone numbers. For our safety and security of course (wink wink).
I’ll prob do more research on the 2 factor phone problem. I’m sure many privacy minded are running into same challenge
