My college recently decided that non vaccinated students would have to go into a 7 day quarantine when they arrive on campus. My dad has been pushing for me to get vaccinated for months, but I’m 18 and my mom has been on my side this whole time so he has basically been all bluster. However, now he’s gone full tilt into rage mode that I won’t do what he thinks is “best for the family.” He has moved all of my stuff from around the house into my bedroom and is telling me that “I wanted to give you the choice but you are getting vaccinated by Friday.” I’m holding firm but I just wanted to share another story about how these deranged psychos will tear everything apart for their narrative.

Do you really have to take your core classes this year or can you just take the electives instead? Maybe see if these elective classes can be done via remote learning so you can stay home or somewhere close to your family if you have to move out?
At least give yourself the opportunity to wait this farce out for hopefully a year so you don't have to worry about delaying your education? Can you declare your major as "undecided", which should allow you to take electives until you decide on something (which is neuroscience as you've just mentioned) later on?
If you are unable to do the remote learning thing, maybe take the electives at a local community college and transfer the credits over, then go to college once the whole thing blows over or when you're able to transfer to a better college?
Just trying to help you out as I know how difficult it can be. Been through something similar to your situation but managed to get through college.
The school doesn’t require the vaccine. I will still be able to take all of my classes in person. They’ll expect a mask, but I doubt they will check so I should be good. Thanks you for the help though,
