I would counter however that there are many vaccines that the majority if not almost the entirety of the population gets (such as the many childhood vaccines). Also, there are flu vaccines every year that to my knowledge many people get each year (CDC data said 49%, take that as you will) and yet none of these very common inoculations show the mass death reporting this one does.
You could argue that it was because of some sort of cultural panic caused by those evil right wingers about this specific vaccine, yet Trump seems quite supportive of it and most republicans seemed at least initially hopeful that the vaccine would end the lockdowns and we’re thus if anything looking for excuses to accept the vaccine at the start. Overall, I don’t see a factor or factors that would adequately describe the massive discrepancy.

I like that theory up to the point where I am forced to take it.... Which is looking increasingly likely.
Also it seems fairly possible this vaccine is in fact a setup for depop. Vax the population then release the virus fatal to vaxxed. Hope not anyway
