So the library is finally open in this incredibly liberal fascist city I go to & so I went in & asked to borrow a laptop. They used to have a program where you can use one of their laptops, it's sometimes nicer than bringing my own in.

They took some time packing it up which was odd & gave it to me. I asked, is it the usual 3 hours like before. They said no, 2 weeks. I'm like, huh? But I took it & noticed it was a chrome book. I also noticed that I needed to log in with a google account - not just any random google account I may have but one I can verify & all that. Wow, so obviously google is selling their laptops real cheap so they can steal information off whoever they can.

Um, no thanks, I returned it. I couldn't help but think, isn't it weird that "chrome" books are red? It's like they are trying to get the world used to seeing the color red when hearing the word chrome as opposed to a shiny silvery color. It's just weird that they are prepping the masses for adrenochrome....
