No not as bad, but even then it was biased on social issues/people. I admit that as a spring board to other sources it is useful.
I was teaching engineering & comp sci 10 years ago. Those topics are in general safe, except when it comes to any history behind them. Still, I didn't allow it -- never too early to start enforcing good habits.
Admittedly, in high school I used Wikipedia for research papers but I always used the source resources given in the articles I was researching.
That was 10 years ago, though. It wasn’t nearly as blatantly propagandized as it is now.
Exactly this...it was a good resource to find actual resources..that's about it.
