It was not about morbidity it was always about justice. Satan is actually against the death penalty because those doing evil are more effective if we're alive. By refusing to execute murderers and rapists cause of muh evolved society, we have allowed for lots of evil souls to continue to dwell and occupy the Earth which I do believe has an effect on the overall energies of the Earth. Execution wasn't just about satisfying a need for violence and justice, it was about purging the evil from the world.

While I do agree there cannot be any doubt when passing a death sentence, that doesn't mean there shouldn't be one.
