You really get the sense that these officials, like Townsend, are actually shocked at what is being revealed. I don’t really know how any of them could have been clueless - maybe they just wanted to believe their colleagues would never sink so low - but this is lighting some pretty big fires under some pretty important people and I think we’re gonna see fireworks soon.
