Amen! God, please bless these people with your shield against all that is evil, especially as they guard citizens and fight back evil. Bless all your devoted with the same as we fight evil in our lives. Thank you, Lord. Amen
Amen!
Even if masks worked, it's outrageous to argue we can be forced to wear them.
Even our car seat-belt laws are unconstitutional and they aren't another Bolshevik holocaust hoax (like the COVID death-toll is).
I see your point but in the case of seatbelts there are decades of data proving seatbelts reduce mortality and morbidity.
But that is exactly his point. It doesn't matter in the slightest if seat belts reduce mortality, forcing you to wear them is unconstitutional. Likewise, even if the science backed up masks, the government still cannot force you to wear them.
I understand. however, only applies while your vehicle is in motion, on public roads, where your body is a projectile; same rational as other safety regulations like working head, tail and turn signals.
The point is that if a seat belt law which saves lives is unconstitutional, then a mask mandate which is based on lies and fake science is definitely unconstitutional.
Furthermore, if you actually look at the data, you'll see that the vehicle death rates were already falling prior to the seat belt laws being made. The politicians cleverly used to their advantage when writing those laws. The confirmation bias makes them look like heros for stripping us of our individual liberties. Also, there is no way of accounting for the number of deaths caused by the false sense of security drivers have when wearing seat belts.
Charles Murray discusses this topic in the book "What it Means to be a Libertarian." It's a great read even if you consider yourself a conservative.
I was a driver before seatbelt laws so I know what you mean. don’t recall it being politically popular. I was a paramedic and we were not in favor, thought it would slow down response time.
They do help reduce severe head and neck injuries though.
Yeah I don't get why people leave. Stay and fight. I'm in oregon and I sure as hell ain't gonna let some soy boys from Portland rule over me.
A mandate is not a law!
That is a brave sheriff and echoes what Orange County sheriff said a while ago as well.
