OK, probably, but I don't see Gmail specifically mentioned in the TOS statement. Storage, documents, and other things.... but not Gmail. So the question is, do they interfere with Gmail emails that don't adhere to their totalitarian ideals?
Yes they do. I tried to send my brother a couple of links about covid a few weeks ago and gmail cut off part of the links. It took 3 times for me to forward the full links.
One way to send links via Gmail is to put them in a WordPad file (it's a basic, crippled version of Word) and attach that file. Gets through every time.
Thanks, I know how to get around them but that was just the first encounter I had with Gmail censorship. I just mentioned it to verify that they are doing that.

You're fooling yourself if you think gmail is somehow an exception.

Glad to help, we have to hang together in this, as Benjamin Franklin said, or we will all hang separately.
what links?
Gmail storage is shared with Google Drive. The TOS does mention Drive, so I suppose they could use this to justify deleting mail attachments.
K...thank you.
