This is LITERALLY "I read it on the internet, so it must be true" brought to real life.

Just ten years ago we had commercials making fun of this mindset and now ABC is using it "prove" that the vaccines are safe and effective.

"More than 2 billion people saw something on Facebook, therefore it's authoritative and true"
