That has always been a suspicion in the back of my mind, that this is the motivation in the U.S. too.

But if this was the leftist intention here in America, this effort would have to be proceeded by certain prerequisite actions.

First they:

1. Would have U.S. fighting foreign war to get soldiers out of country
2. U.S. would have to be under ongoing dire event (probably a economic event)
3. An agreement would have to be in place with UN that in certain events, UN forces would participate.
4. A large force of international PMCs would be onboard.
5. The leftist would have to successfully paint patriots (right) as a threat to the common man, and national security. Many big FF would be going down.
6. Others....?

This is maybe where we are headed, but we are not their yet. And I think by the time we get there, the signs will be unmistakable to anyone paying attention, and not totally brainwashed.

It's possible the military would start our opposing the 50 million patriots who would unite to oppose their efforts, but in short time, I think most of the rank and file would turn when they realize what was going on.
