I am not a cop but I was up at a local lake doing some fishing about a month ago. I asked him about the plan to confiscate our guns. He is a county Sherriffs deputy and he assured me no cops will even think of crossing this line and actually are with the citizens. I made sure he knew our 2nd amendment rights and reminded him of our 4th Amendment right. We talked for about 15 mins and was really cool. Btw I live in Southern Oregon. He knows we are all kitted up.
I have been arrested for what I would call "nothing burgers". Both times were for suspended drivers license issues as the result of a DWI 20 years ago. While of course I didn't think it was right and in both cases the charges were erroneous and dropped (they didn't have my paperwork at the office, luckily I keep those kind of records).
I am a clean cut 5.2" tubby white person who looks like an older version of Pat from Saturday Night Live. I am not threatening in the least.
Both times, I just submitted because, when my father had "the talk" with me about law enforcement, I listened.
All of this is to say, cops are doing a job, just like everybody else. They have orders and they follow them. Fighting or asking a bunch of stupid questions is a waste of time and can create scenarios where you could be restrained or worst. The place to get your questions/complaints resolved is in the court in front of a judge
There are goofy people in every profession. Not sure why people think that the police are an exception to this.
Bad teachers, bad plumbers, bad electricians, bad cops, etc etc. Hell, we even have some bad cars, bad bikes, bad boats. Doesn't mean that all of them are.
Why? Two answers; Qualified Immunity, and “what goes around comes around.”
No, a cop is not supposed to uphold your freedoms. A cop’s job is to observe, investigate, detain and incarcerate. The cop does not decide wrongness, he decides Reasonable Suspicion and Probable Cause.
why don't you go ahead and SHOW me that the Queen has power in Canada?
Go find some document dated after 1867 that proves the queen has power in Canada.
Imagine, an uneducated American telling a Canadian who runs their country lol

Do a search on 2nd amendment counties in the US, and one on local militias. Most police officers are a large part of both.

Percentages. Everything is a numbers game.
Don't swallow the lies.

QI is created by jurisprudence, the law, and is bound for SCOTUS.
Tit-for-tat is human nature. A cop’s job a conclusion of law, as is RS and PC.

Why do you think pedophiles are attracted to teaching?
Mark Passio discusses this in his lectures about order followers.
I tend to agree with the comments here- we have a few bad apples who are not Patriots.
um, the queen has nothing to do with Canada. She's a figure head, that it all. Zero power, zero say, zero involvement in Canada.
Why do you think this? Just curious
yea you're 100% bub.
We are a former British Colony. It's Canadian tradition to still 'honour' that.
Queen has ZERO POWER in Canada.
ok then..
