Here's a phrase I learned when I first went to the Persian Gulf. It was required training for us:
"Women are for babies. Men and boys are for fun."
When someone asked what it meant, our attachè replied, "What? You don't have think all these men walking around holding hands is just because they're just (air quotes) 'friends,' do you?"
It is a loosely guarded secret in the worldwide Muslim community that most men are at least bi sexual. More to that point, it's not just ignored, but condoned.
The wealthier families will actually employ what we termed "chamber boys," or "cabin boys" in Naval parlance. I say "employed" because they pay them, house and clothe them, school them and allow them to grow up with the wealthy's legitimate children, and pay for all medical expenses. But they are, in reality, nothing more than slaves.
That was in '96. That was when I figured out that Islam was brought about to be Lucifer's human army in the End Times.
Later, after we invaded Iraq, our forces were forced to look the other way, especially when these kids were punished. Women and wives, too. The village my unit was originally camped next to had regular public beatings, stonings, floggings, etc. It got to the point where we would go inside the bunker to get away from the noise they made. It was the only thing that kept most of us from entering the town and dealing with the leadership in a more "personal way." This was what helped solidify my earlier views on Islam. There's no way a just and merciful God tells His People to commit some of the attrocities we saw.
Yep. Boy love Thursdays is a thing in the sandbox.
